Dammit you guys :/ You could have warned me that upgrading firmware can brick my mobile! I have no idea what to do now, it turns on, blinks and turns off immediately. I have tried removing the battery, upgrading again as written in my WEGA 3121 Service manual, restoring factory settings. Phone seems pretty messed up now. For those unfamiliar with my case let me describe you what steps I have made so far.
It all begun when I tried to upgrade firmware using service packages (recipe from my BENQ Service manual, so: removing battery, reconnecting,running Phoenix (from PhoenixSlayer), checking NO CONNECTION, then flashing prommer, choosing software. In the middle of service procedure – bam – cellphone reboots and turns off immediately.
I then tried to proceed with flashing as described in service manual – I turned off the phone again, disconnected battery, and upgraded in N/C mode this time with Refubrish rather than Restore User Product… it looked as it was kind of working – the phone started up ok… but it took about a minute before it turned off again in the same way. Tried few more times – no luck so far.
I am really confused right now – I have followed Service Manual exactly and I was sure it won’t let me damage my phone… what should I do? Inb4: “read service manual”, “you’re an idiot”, ‘RTFM”. I REALLY TRIED.
